Floresville is a town of about 6,000 residents and is the county seat of Wilson County. The county population is about 35,000. Both figures come from the 2000 US Census and will be updated again in 2010.
Population in Wilson County is centered in Floresville and grows in density slightly as you move westward in the County, toward San Antonio.
Floresville is connected by state highway to San Antonio and Interstate 10, making both Houston and San Antonio convenient to get to, but pleasantly removed from our small-town atmosphere:

Because the national census is conducted only every 10 years, the US Census total population of about 6,000 for Floresville and of just under 35,000 for Wilson County is considered out of date. Anecdotal information, including home sales and construction, suggest the county and town populations are growing gently.
